NOW HIRING - PART-TIME OVERNIGHT MED AIDE in Council Bluffs, IA = 10p-6a with a $2 shift differential

Overnight Hours

The way to enjoy your time as a Part-Time Med Aide:

  • Use your 40-hour Medication Aide certification to understand dosage and terminology to help the residents.
  • Utilize your computer skills and track medication provided to the resident in the system.
  • While interacting and engaging residents with activities, observe, monitor, and report any side effects or concerns as needed.
  • Assist with activities of daily living with a willingness to be coached.
  • Strong English communication skills are essential for seamless interaction with residents and colleagues.

Per Iowa law, Medication Aides must complete a department-approved medication aide or medication manager course and pass the required exam before administering medications to our residents. Additionally, a licensed healthcare professional must assess the Medication Aide before they can begin this responsibility.
