Maintenance Director - Shorepointe Nursing Center

Optalis Healthcare & Rehabilitation is seeking a Maintenance Director for our Shorepointe Nursing Care Center. In this role you will be responsible for planning, organizing, developing and directing the operations of the Maintenance Department.
You will ensure that the community is maintained in a clean, safe and comfortable manner through overseeing the preventative and contractual care of the facilities, maintaining strong relations with vendors and contractors, ensuring quality work and adherence to budgetary needs. Assists in the management construction projects.
Working Conditions:
- Ability to push, pull, and/or lift a maximum 300 lbs. utilizing appropriate lifting devices
- Ability to climb & work off of extension ladders

Job Type:
- Full time with weekend and holiday availability if needed
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Technical training and/or certification in HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing. Carpentry, etc. desired.
- Previous experience in a supervisory capacity in a maintenance-related position is a plus.
- Knowledge in building codes, safety, EPA, and OSHA and other related regulations.
