Job Summary
The Assistant Director of Resident Experience (AVPRX) will foster the human experience by interacting with residents in all areas of daily life, including providing Β direct nursing care to residents, as well as lead the day-to-day nursing activities performed by experience team.Β You will collaborate and build strong relationships with clear communication.
Essential Responsibilities
- Assists the Vice President of Resident Experience (VPRX) in determining the type of staffing needs in accordance with client care, preparation of team and needs prescribed by the physician.
- Provides services (ADL's and Medication Supervision) in accordance with specific written orders from a physician.
- Assist the VPRX in planning, coordinating, implementing, and evaluating total care within the Community.
- Records all services given on appropriate forms or POC device.
- Reports and documents pertinent information and prepares progress notes.
- Helping the residents to maintain good personal hygiene.
- Maintains a safe work area free from hazards of fire, spills, chemicals and equipment. Reports any problems to the VPRX and/or President.
- Providing routine individualized healthcare needs.
- Monitoring or reporting changes in health status.
- Maintaining records of patient care, condition, progress or problems to report
- Discussing observations with leader.
- Recording vital signs monthly such as temperature, blood pressure, pulse or respiration rate.
Education and Experience
- Hold a current, unencumbered license to practice as a nurse in this state.
- 2-3 years of nursing experience in senior living communities, preferably having leadership responsibilities
- LPN degree from an accredited nursing program
- CPR certification
