Job Summary

The Assistant Director of Resident Experience (AVPRX) will foster the human experience by interacting with residents in all areas of daily life, including providing  direct nursing care to residents, as well as lead the day-to-day nursing activities performed by experience team.  You will collaborate and build strong relationships with clear communication.

Essential Responsibilities

• Assists the Vice President of Resident Experience (VPRX) in determining the type of staffing needs in accordance with client care, preparation of team and needs prescribed by the physician.
• Provides services (ADL's and Medication Supervision) in accordance with specific written orders from a physician.
• Assist the VPRX in planning, coordinating, implementing, and evaluating total care within the Community.
• Records all services given on appropriate forms or POC device.
• Reports and documents pertinent information and prepares progress notes.
• Helping the residents to maintain good personal hygiene.
• Maintains a safe work area free from hazards of fire, spills, chemicals and equipment. Reports any problems to the VPRX and/or President.
• Providing routine individualized healthcare needs.
• Monitoring or reporting changes in health status.
• Maintaining records of patient care, condition, progress or problems to report
• Discussing observations with leader.
• Recording vital signs monthly such as temperature, blood pressure, pulse or respiration rate.

Education and Experience

• Hold a current, unencumbered license to practice as a nurse in this state.
• 2-3 years of nursing experience in senior living communities, preferably having leadership responsibilities
• LPN degree from an accredited nursing program
• CPR certification
