Our LPNs works in harmony with the Charge Nurse to assure that all nursing services are rendered on the unit.
Full-Time 7am-3pm
Part-Time 11pm-7am

LPN in Sub Acute Care Responsibilities:
- Makes rounds with physicians, assisting them in examining and treating residents as necessary. Assist physicians to ensure that all documentation is completed by physician as necessary.
- Administers treatments as ordered according to the physician’s orders and the policies and procedures of the facility.
- Astutely and consistently observes unit and all residents and reports pertinent information to Charge Nurse.
- Assumes Charge Nurse responsibilities in the absence of the Charge Nurse.
- Participates in the hiring process of CNAs and assists in the orientation of new co-workers.
- Administers medications according to the policies and procedures of the facility and in accord with the physician’s orders. Reports any problems concerning a medication order or the administration of the medication to the Charge Nurse in a timely manner.
LPN in Sub Acute Care Requirements:
- LPN license in the state where employed.
- CPR certification, if you do not have one we will pay for you to be certified.
- Must possess a working knowledge of the rules and regulations of the Department of Health pertaining to licensed practical nursing, and the storage and administration of drugs.
- Minimum of one-year experience in assisted living or other health care setting.
- Leadership skills and the ability to form relationships with residents, their loved ones and our co-workers.
- Ability to perform the physical tasks required in this type of role.
