The Role at a glance:

We are looking to add an enthusiastic, motivated utility worker to our Cater to You team in Brooklyn, New York. As a utility worker, you will have the opportunity to ensure sanitary eating conditions by keeping kitchen equipment, cutlery and utensils, and tableware clean. You will oversee sanitation operations and coordinate tasks to ensure completion.

Your Pay:

$17 / hour

What you'll be doing:

• Customer Focus: Maintains CTY’s customer-driven approach to service and ensure every customer receives outstanding customer service.
• Sort and rinse dirty dishes, glass, tableware and other cooking utensils and place them in racks to send through dish machine 
• Sort and stack clean dishes - carry dishes to cook’s line and other proper storage areas   
• Keep work area and equipment neat and clean at all times including sweeping/mopping floors - place/remove wet floor signs 
• Maintain cleanliness of all working surfaces, refrigerators and any other food storage areas in accordance with Health Department standards 
• Support and participate in common teamwork with all unit members.

What we're looking for:

Must-haves: 

• At least 18 years of age 

Nice-to-haves: 

• At least one years’ experience in a foodservice environment.
