We're a mission-driven, non-profit assisted living facility seeking a Director of Nursing who values meaningful relationships, compassionate care, and working for a place where residents come first.

Position Summary:

The Director of Nursing (DON) oversees all aspects of clinical care within our non-profit assisted living facility. Reporting to the Administrator, the DON will lead and inspire a team of caregivers, ensure compliance with state and local regulations, and most importantly, promote a culture of dignity, respect, and compassion.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead, support, and supervise nursing and caregiving staff to ensure high-quality, person-centered care.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable health regulations and standards for assisted living in [Insert State].
• Conduct resident assessments and develop individualized care plans in collaboration with physicians, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
• Serve as a mentor and resource to staff-fostering growth, morale, and professional development.
• Create and manage staff schedules to ensure appropriate coverage and quality of care.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation in accordance with state requirements and internal procedures.
• Monitor infection control, medication management, and resident safety initiatives.
• Communicate openly with residents and families to ensure satisfaction and address concerns promptly.
• Collaborate with leadership on budgeting, staffing, and quality improvement strategies.

What We're Looking For:

• Licensure: Active RN license in the state of Utah.
• Education: BSN is preferred; MSN or healthcare administration experience a plus.
• Experience: Minimum 3 years of nursing experience, with at least 12 months in a leadership or supervisory role-preferably in assisted living, long-term care, or geriatrics.
• Strong understanding of regulatory compliance, care standards, and clinical operations.
• Compassionate, team-oriented, and committed to serving the aging population.
