Key Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic direction and leadership to department leaders of Maintenance, Security, Housekeeping, Laundry, Material Management, Transportation, and Concierge.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to optimize operational efficiency.
- Manage budgets and resources effectively, ensuring cost control and fiscal responsibility.
- Monitor performance metrics and generate reports to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, standards, and safety protocols.
- Foster a collaborative and productive work environment, promoting teamwork and professional development.
- Address and resolve operational issues and challenges in a timely and effective manner.
- Conduct regular meetings with department leaders to discuss progress, challenges, and strategies.
Department Oversight
- The Director of General Services will directly oversee the following departments and their respective leaders:
- Maintenance: Responsible for the upkeep and repair of the entire Campus and equipment. Keeping apartment Renovations processes on schedule.
- Security: Ensures the safety and security of the organization's premises and personnel.
- Housekeeping: Maintains cleanliness and hygiene standards throughout the Campus. Meeting all Healthcare criteria.
- Laundry: Manages laundry services, ensuring timely and efficient processing. Meeting all Healthcare requirements.
- Material Management: Oversees the procurement, storage, and distribution of supplies and materials.
- Transportation: Coordinates transportation services for the organization.
- Concierge: Provides assistance and support to employees and visitors. This team also runs a retail convenience store on Campus.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Facilities Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience in a leadership role, preferably in general services or operations management.
- Strong understanding of budget management and financial planning.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to lead and motivate diverse teams.
- Knowledge of relevant regulations and safety standards.
Compensation (Salary/Exempt): $86,320.00 to $107,900.00 USD
